CIR Recieves Counter Proposals, 4/25/07

On the evening of April 23, 2007 the CIR Negotiating Committee sat down with the UNM Management Team for our third contract bargaining session. At the session, Management offered the Negotiating Committee counter proposals to 18 of the 40 opening proposals that CIR committee members presented in the first two bargaining sessions.
It is anticipated that management will continue presenting its counter proposals at the next bargaining session on May 3rd. The CIR Negotiating Committee will be meeting tonight to prepare for this fourth session.
The next bargaining session is scheduled for Thursday, May 3rd at 5:30 PM on the 3rd Floor of the Domenici Center. All interested housestaff are welcome to attend.
