CIR Vice President Joins UNM Housestaff Party, 11/17/06

On Friday, November 17th, 2006, dozens of UNM residents and fellows gathered at The Carom Club in downtown Albuquerque with CIR Vice President Rueven Bromberg, MD, a PGY 3 in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, to celebrate our successful petition drive. We had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Bromberg about how CIR works at Jackson Memorial Hospital. We also enjoyed drinks, pool, conversation and good times with our colleagues from UNM.
Our petition has now been officially certified by the state labor board, and our union election is scheduled for January 31, 2007.
